Luckily, here in Salt Lake, these are more of a luxury than a need most of the time, as it's never THAT cold for the most part. But, I received these as a gift before a trip to Jackson and then Banff last winter, and I honestly don't think I would've survived Banff without them. I wore them walking to and from dinner even as they just kept my hands so much warmer than anything else, so skiing, you can imagine it was a huge bonus for comfort. Toes were giving up long before the fingers ever felt it.
Ideal for
- Awesome for people with freezing cold hands.
- Great long cuff works with basically any coat
- Super durable to withstand grabbing fresh edges and wipeouts on ice.
Not ideal for
- Obviously a little loss of dexterity with mitten version.
- Too warm for anything over 40ish degrees F.

I’m brand new to snowboarding (but have done other board sports🏄🏻♀️🛹) and know nothing about snowboarding! I’m so thankful for Alex because he was able to find me the perfect board, bindings and boots - all within my budget! He also was able to answer all my questions and get back to me fast! On top of which he checked on me after I received my products to ensure everything fit right and was to my liking which I really appreciate! 😊 Lastly he reminded me of my credits that I had from my first purchase and recommend multiple options for things I can spend it on that are easily forgotten about when your new to snowboarding (even though they’re kinda important - such as gloves, goggles, travel case, etc). I just recently started snowboarding and finally committed to getting my own gears instead of renting. Nick was above and beyond every step of the way!
