Product details

The CBX2 wedge from Cleveland has the look and feel of a tour-caliber wedge, but with added forgiveness for the weekend warriors.

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Sole – This wedge comes in 3 difference sole grinds to better match with the type of player and shots used on the course.

  • Rotex Face Technology – The face uses Tour Zip grooves to add extra spin for all those short game shots you need to score well.

  • Feel Balancing Technology – This removes weight from the hosel and moves the center of gravity from the heel more towards the center of the clubface, improving feel and dispersion.

Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Cleveland CBX and CBX 2 wedges?
Cleveland CBX2 wedges may not be the most attractive wedges on the market, but their utility completely eclipses their appearance. Nearly every golfer will benefit from the technology used in CBX2 wedges to enhance their short game. They offer a wide range of lofts at a reasonable price, are simple to hit consistently, and are incredibly forgiving.

An ideal wedge for a vast array of mid to high handicap players who play cavity-backed irons and seek consistent feel as they transfer from their short iron game to wedge game. A known and reputable brand for making incredible wedges, the CBX2 is no different, with fourth-generation Rotex Face technology and Zip grooves for tour-level spin, hollow-cavity design for unparalleled forgiveness, and weight-matched True Temper Dynamic Gold 115gram shafts blended to the feel of most cavity-backed iron sets, all orchestrate amazing wedge performance and feel. Four different bounce options and three varying sole grinds allow players to further dial in the perfect sole options for their angle of attack, course conditions, and swing preferences.

It features a hollow cavity head design which spreads the weight to the perimeter giving it a great amount of forgiveness not normally seen in typical "blade" style wedges. Has a dynamic sole which boosts all around versatility.

The slightly larger sole and slight cavity provide tons of forgiveness on full shots while still maintaining a a thin topline to give lot tons of workability if you like to open or close the face on those chip shots.

Cavity back design wedges will allow for great forgiveness and help stick it close on your approach shots. Also great out of the sand.

A top-shelf wedge for those looking for a bit more forgiveness and distance out of their wedges, especially on mishits. The ball flight tends to be more penetrating than other wedges available.
