Can you share a story of a happy purchaser whom you recommended this product to?
A customer of mine purchased this set of irons for his son who had just joined his high school golf team. While being skeptical about buying clubs his son hadn't tried out yet, he trusted my expertise and opinion. Roughly a week later, I received a few messages from the customer. One of the messages was of the customer's son using the clubs. Not only was it a pure shot, the father-son duo were in awe of the shot the son hit in the video. The father loved the pure sound that came off the club face during the shot, while the son did a pose and club twirl post-shot because of the shot's success. Because of this set, the father-son duo are having even more fun out there on the course.

Is Callaway still making Mavrik irons?
Callaway Golf is no longer producing the Mavrik irons. They were released in 2020 and were replaced by the Callaway Rogue ST irons in 2022. This is standard for Callaway. They replace clubs after they have been produced for 2 years. Mavrik irons can still be purchased online and in stores where there are sets in stock.

What handicap are Mavrik irons for?
Mavrik irons are best for mid-high handicap players and any player looking for maximum forgiveness, distance, and accuracy. For those looking to be able to do more "shaping" of their shots and those looking to get more feedback from the club on off-center hits...the Mavrik Pro is the best option. But for all other weekend golfers and those just looking for a really fun set of irons to play that will fly long and not penalize mishits...the Mavriks are a great option.

A massive technical beast of an iron that will catapult a wide array of players games from 8-20 handicaps to greater success with their irons. AI computer generated and 360 Face Cup technology along with progressive tungsten weighting set specifically for each iron gives you profound and specific control from each iron-distance from long irons to spin control in the short irons. Moderate head sizes, toplines, and minimal offset give appealing looks with much of the technology concealed from view at address. Stock True Temper Elevate 95 shafts match the iron design to optimize clubhead speeds for an all-around mammoth of an iron to play!

These irons are the definition of playable, forgiving, and long. Callaway packed these with technology while still maintaining the very classic Callaway look. To start, Callaway introduced a new face to these irons. Using AI software, they were able to create faces with different thicknesses across the face to help mishits go further. How much do you hate toeing the ball and watching it fall 20 yards shorter than your intended target? It also has tungsten weight in the back of the club to help get the ball in the air more easily. Lastly, they used the AI software to also tune the sound at impact that you may love from, for instance, Mizunos, so in essence you get the sound of a Mizuno with the forgiveness of a Mavrik. I also really like that this set comes with an AW (attack wedge) which helps blend the distances better from PW to AW.

Callaway went big with these irons. They added what they call "Flash Face Cup Technology" that uses AI to create a unique face architecture for every loft that helps promote higher ball speeds. when you add that to a strong loft that can create some distances that didn't seem possible. They have also added a tungsten energy core to precisely locate the perfect CG in each iron which will give you the best launch possible. These irons are perfect for that mid to high handicap that is looking to add some distance but still throw some darts!

2020 offering from Callaway! These are the irons that have picked up where the Rogues left off. Players like Phil Mickelson have started to hit these. The weight on the back of the club allows for more stability, producing less mishits.

The longest irons in the Mavrik family. AI-designed Flash Face Cup iron face, Tungsten Energy Core weighting, and Callaway's patented urethane microspheres allow for incredibly fast ball speeds and long, consistent shots and incredible feel for irons in this class. Upgraded True Temper Elevate95 shafts are lighter (90g) for faster swing speeds, and have high launch characteristics for high flying shots!
