The Adventure® Medical Kit’s Hiker First-Aid Kit is portable and includes enough first-aid supplies to treat common hiking injuries, such as blisters, wounds, and sprained ankles, for up to two people on a two-night backcountry trip. These supplies are clearly labeled in injury-specific compartments inside a durable, water-resistant bag, all of which weighs about half a pound.
Key Features:
Hiking First-Aid Guide Included – The kit includes “Wilderness Medicine: A Condensed Guide,” edited by Christopher Van Tilburg, MD, for up-to-date guidance on treating common backcountry injuries and illnesses.
Wound Care and Blister Prevention / Protection – Among the contents are a 5” x 9” trauma pad to stop bleeding fast, butterfly bandages, medical tape, an elastic bandage for stabilizing a sprained ankle, and pre-cut moleskin pieces for reducing friction in blister-prone areas.
Find-It-Fast Design – An external map shows where supplies are located inside the kit for quick access in emergency situations, and the reflective logo on the outside of the bag makes it easy to find in the dark. Inside, items are intuitively organized in clearly-labeled pockets via the Easy Care™ First Aid® System.
Lightweight and Compact – The kit weighs just 0.45 pounds and measures 6.5" x 3" x 5.5" for easy packing.
