At only 300 dollars these are a great bang for you buck. For only 50 dollars more than the squire you are getting a lot more technology. These bindings will last many seasons and for 300 dollars they are well worth it.

I like to do lots of spins and jumps and the pivots are amazing at catering towards freeskiers. The pivot heel piece enables your heel to be able to travel a little bit before you release. This helps prevent premature releases when spinning and landing from jumps. It really helps with reliability for free skiing

Despite turning around to retrieve them immediately, they were not on the road and we assumed they were lost for good. And if they were found, a brake or heel piece had to have been knocked off or the skis would be dented to crap. After leaving my contact details with the Idaho Department of Transportation, I received a call two weeks later. To my disbelief, one of their sheds, two hours away, had my skis in their lost and found. Anticipating the worst, I was amazed to find the Look Pivot 12 bindings in absolute mint condition. No more than a scratch that easily could've been from running into a tree or something -no evidence of the harrowing freeway ordeal. This unexpected reunion reaffirmed their resilience, leaving me in awe of the bindings' durability and proving their worth beyond measure. And, of course, a really memorable incident and funny story.

While skiing these my friend and I both had a pair of pivot 12's. He broke his ski on a jump but in that crash the binding kept his knee safe. These bindings are great at only releasing when you need them to.

I love the durability, reliability and rotating heel on the Pivot The small mounting plate enables the ski to flex naturally while the rotating heel helps keep your knees safe and comes in handy in not popping out on big landings. I've never prematurely popped out in these bindings and i felt that when I did pop out it was preventing injury.

The 12 is primarily plastic, the 15 is primarily metal, so it's more durable. The 15 has the ability to be upgraded to a CAST touring system if you're ever interested in going uphill. And with the current price difference being so low between the two, the only reason not to get the better one is if you have a DIN lower than 6.

The 95s are good they will stretch. I know it’s a little confusing when they don’t measure them on the 10s but you're better off with the 95. The 115 will have too much overhang and you’ll catch your feet on each other. It’s a standard practice to stretch brake arms when needed.
