This Redington Classic Trout rod is a great rod for the beginner to intermediate angler looking for a rod that is easy casting and lightweight. This rod is best at presenting dry flies but can handle small nymph rigs and small streamers. The rod comes in 2wt to 6wts and comes in 7'6" up to 9'0" lengths. If you are looking to chunk big hopper dropper, large nymph rigs, or hit the banks with larger streamers other rods may be a better option.

The Redington Classic Trout Fly Rod is designed with trout anglers in mind. Made with a moderate action blank, this rod is designed to delicately cast dry flies as well as handle streamers and nymph rigs. The action of the rod allows for forgiving casts that beginners will appreciate.

Rylyn found a sale for the Douglas Sky G rod and recommended it. He said that this was the best rod in the market and so I bought it. We paired it with monic Trout Master fly line. I was not disappointed at all! The rod feels intuitive and natural to cast. I could cast more accurately and a longer distance than I ever did with my previous rod.
