Trilene XL line is an extra limp monofilament line and has a very low memory so is ideal for spinning reels.

The Berkley Trilene XL mono as good stretch when fishing with live bait and the fish slam the bait it has the rod from taking the full load since mono has good stretch. It also casts very well so you can make those long casts to deep water. The 12lb option will work for larger fish but still light enough to not spook the fish

Pretty much anything. It can handle being used for trolling and knots are pretty easy to tie.
