This is my gamer wedge from 130 yards into the flag. It had a mid to high launch that enable me to work the ball at various trajectories. I play knock down shots to full swings with the this wedge and it's help me shave stroke from my scores by getting the ball closer to the pin.

Great performing wedges for players looking for lots of spin and a more refined look at address. Low handicap players will love the spin and feel, mid and high handicap players will love the nice high launch and forgiveness on full swings and shots around the green.
Clean looking wedge that performs consistently for many different players in many different lies.
Ideal for
- Most consistent spinning wedges from any lie
- Easy distance control
- Thinner hosel and less offset look great at address
Not ideal for
- Launches the ball higher than the RTX 4
- ZipCore plate at the back of the club looks "weird" or "less traditional"

Who uses Cleveland ZipCore wedges on tour?
On the PGA Tour, there are a number of Cleveland Staff members that play variou versions of the Cleveland RTX ZipCore wedge. Some of the bigger names on staff are: Matt Kuchar (Since Feb 2021) Brooks Koepka Shane Lowry Ernie Els Cleveland Golf has also incorporated the LPGA Tour into it's advisory staff. These players also use the RTX ZipCore wedge: Inbee Park Hannah Green Minjee Lee Along with tour players, there are a host of players on the Symetra and Korn Ferry Tour that use Cleveland Wedges. There is no shoratge of tour presence, which is why we continue to recommend Cleveland wedges to help you play like the pros.Answered by:

Posted on Aug 29, 2023For years I was hitting the wrong wedges. After shaing my woes (my problems on the course) Steve concluded my wedges werre not optimal for my age and (lack of) ability. These were the result, and they have made a difference!

Sara recommended 3 choices for woods and irons. I settled on the TRS2 3W and TRS2 Hybrid with specific shafts she also recommended and the Golf Pride Tour Wrap G2 grips I preferred. I selected the Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal Pro Irons and got the 4-PW and added the G, L and S wedges with the shafts Sara recommended and the same grips I preferred. This combo is the best I have ever hit providing me with great satisfaction almost each time I hit the ball as I still, occasionally, hit a bad shot but that’s on me and not the club selection. Sara really was spot on with her selection of clubs for me and I also was recommended the Scotty Cameron Phantom putter which is the best putter I have ever had. Thanks again Sara! Really appreciate your knowledge and help!
