Product details

The CAPiTA Defenders of Awesome—commonly known as the D.O.A.—is a true twin with a hybrid camber design, that’s made for beginners ready to start in the park, as well as experts looking to send the large line and take a freestyle approach to the whole mountain.

Key Features:

  • Dual Blaster Ashpop Core – The core contains poplar strips and ash for a solid and predictable feel underfoot. This helps provide energy and reliability to the feel of the board.

  • Resort V1 Profile – This profile uses the benefits of camber, zero camber (flat), and reverse camber (rocker), to get the pop and response of a cambered board with the predictability and easy turn initiation of reverse camber.

  • Fortress Kevlar Bound Sidewalls – The sidewall of the board is wrapped from the top of the sidewall to the bottom of the core with a Kevlar S material. This helps bind the sidewall and the core together for enhanced durability after the edges take a beating in the park.

  • Carbon Fiber Boosters – Added carbon fiber rods increase the power and response of the core while remaining ultralight.

  • Quantum Drive Base – An updated sintered base with a progressive blend of compressed ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene helps the base absorb more wax for a longer and faster ride. The increased density of the base also helps with durability and longevity of the board.

Simply put: Everything. This board does it all and essentially serves as a "jack of all trades" mentality. Whether you're looking to step up your game in terms of picking up speed, turning through treelines, or carving on intermediate groomers, this board is made to ensure you're going to fun days all around.

It has a mid flex to keep things playful but lively, with good pop for the jump line. A true twin build makes riding switch a breeze. Some mellow camber under the feet provides a solid edge hold and nice carving ability, while rocker in the tip and tail provides float and forgiveness for when you want to get buttery. Slay the whole mountain on this thing!

Wanna hit the park? Get it. Wanna go freeride in the sidecountry, go launch that cliff! Wanna go 9 million miles an hour on the groomers on a fast day, make sure you brought your speed shades. Whatever you wanna do this board has you covered.

All mountain/park domination. This board is fun on everything. Tons of pop and control from the camber under foot, with the playfulness and forgiveness of the rocker tips... it's a deadly combo.

Sending it for speed, carves, or air. This thing absolutely shreds while having steel edges for icy michigan conditions.
