Product details

The Head Kore 99 is light enough to be used for touring, yet both stiff and energetic enough to be a daily driver inbounds, even for aggressive skiers. The Kore 99 is light but high-powered and would make a great fit for a wide variety of skiers.

Key Features:

  • Rocker / Camber / Rocker Construction – Rocker in the tip and tail makes for easy turn initiation and improved flotation in powder, while camber underfoot ensures edge hold and stability at speed.

  • 99mm Waist Width – A 99mm waist is very versatile. It’s narrow enough for hardpack and groomers and wide enough for fresh pow.

  • Karuba Poplar Core – Karuba and Poplar together make a very light core that has energetic and responsive tendencies.

  • Koroyd – Koroyd is a light and elastic material that adds torsional rigidity to hold an edge through a turn even on hard snow.

  • Graphene Tip and Tail – The ski has minimalist tip and tail designs that plane well and initiate into or out of turns with ease.

  • Carbon – The Kore 99 has carbon through the core of the ski that adds energy and stability.

Some of the experts regard the HEAD KORE 99's as one the BEST all-mountain POW skis on the market. HEAD calls it "A skiers ski" and they absolutely rip everywhere, in any snow condition and terrain the mountain throws at you. These skis do everything really well!!! K2 Mindbender was their answer to the Kore Series of skis from HEAD. They'll lay trenches on the groomers, zipper line bumps, and fly off the cornice into a POW POW field. Point 'em and go!

Extra tech stuff; it's got early rise and a tapered tip to camber underfoot to a flat stiff tail makes for a forgiving and extremely powerful ski.

This is an extremely versatile, all-mountain ski that will be fantastic for laying trenches on groomers, cutting through variable conditions, and floating in powder! Stable at speed and very confidence-inspiring. Will be happy cruising at a variety of speeds. Lightweight, but doesn't sacrifice power. Easy to initiate turns!

This is a standout all-mountain ski. I finally got the chance to demo this ski, and it blew my mind. Not only is it lighter than just about every other all-mountain charger, it is smoother and less chattery than some of the heavyweights in this category (looking at you Volkl Mantra!). So much fun and on sale right now!

The Kore 99 has a unique construction blend with graphene to make it lightweight, but still incredibly strong! It has the stiffness to rip groomers and hold an edge on firm snow, and it's shape and lightweight build give it great capability off-piste.

In a 99, across almost any terrain you can put it in! As long as there's enough snow to lay an edge, it feels at home, and the profile keeps it very versatile in changing conditions.

Pretty much everything, stable, light and very snappy ski to go anywhere on any mountain as fast as you'd like! These things are a ton of fun.
