Product details

The Mizuno JPX921 Tour Iron Set is for accomplished players demanding a soft forged feel along with a fusion of precision and stability from slight mishits. Melding added thickness behind the face with tour refined short iron shaping solicits smooth turf interaction and appealing aesthetics.

Key Features:

  • Grain Flow Forged – Delivering an identifiable consistently soft feel, a patented Grain Flow Forged process from a 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel molds each iron.
  • Tour Flighted – Toe bias weighting within the Stability Frame of the iron body provides a more extended center of gravity distance to produce reliably straight ball flights.
  • Refined Short Irons – A narrow sole design in the shorter irons cleans up turf interaction splitting through any lie, ensuring consistent launch.
  • Harmonic Impact – Evolved from studying vibration patterns, a thicker cavity pad allows feedback from impact to be derived a fraction longer.
  • Pearl Brush Finish – Constructed with an anti-glare finish to minimize distractions over the ball.

These are great irons for skilled players or those who prefer the look and feel that forged irons provide. Mizuno, historically one of the premier brands for some of the best irons in the game, has once again developed a great set in the JPX921 Tour Iron. These are absolutely beautiful irons that have been developed using the Grain Flow Forged HD process for a signature Mizuno feel. They also feature a Stability Frame for a center of gravity that provides more distance and straight, more consistent flight. The short irons have a narrower sole for a clean turf interaction for improved performance by these crucial scoring irons.

The JPX 921 Tour is the most played Mizuno by non-contracted Pros in the PGA. The 921 Tour blends precision and stability to create a more forgiving club with enhanced feel to optimize a player's shot-making ability. As with all forged Mizunos, these are "grain flow forged" with 1025E pure milled carbon steel to create the legendary buttery smooth feel Mizuno is known for. The Tour is built with toe bias weighting for stability and a longer center of gravity that produces straight consistent ball flight. The JPX line features slightly more offset and a minimally larger sole/profile than the MP-20 model for a little extra forgiveness without compromising its Tour-level performance. The 921 Tour produces lower ball speeds with higher spin rates than its 3 siblings in the JPX line making it the most precise JPX model with the greatest degree of workability.
