The M5 Mantra by Völkl is a smooth and stable all-mountain ski for advanced skiers.
96mm Waist – At 96mm underfoot, the M5 Mantra is versatile and handles a wide range of conditions well.
Titanal Frame – Völkl’s Titanal frame technology allows the M5 Mantra ski to retain the desired rigidity of a traditional Titanal ski but doesn’t make the ski overly stiff underfoot.
Carbon Tips – Carbon in the tip and tail of the ski reduce swing weight without sacrificing damping and power for a really smooth ride.
Rocker/Camber/Rocker Construction – The rocker/camber/rocker shape brings the most versatility by allowing the ski to hold a strong edge and float in powder.

There is a metal Titanal® plate underfoot, also with a Titanal® edge around the tip and tail linking back up with the metal underfoot plate. This allows the user to maintain a ton of power and precision to your edge. It is a 96 mm underfoot, and for a ski this wide, the edge capabilities are incredible. There is a camber underfoot with a low, long rocker in the front and back capable of soft snow.
Metal in every part of this ski will keep any vibration from messing with your turns. These skis will blast through any chop. The longer camber and traditional sidecut gives you as much stability as a ski could offer. This is however at the expense of some maneuverability. The ski will need to be driven a little harder and wants to point, but would make a great groomer ski for anyone who needs control at higher speeds. They have a rocker in the tip and tail that will offer a little maneuverability and keep them afloat on days it snows.
The medium waist of 96mm allows you to carve up groomers like a dream while the rocker and camber make it very capable in soft snow. This ski is seriously the smoothest and most responsive all-mountain ski! Great for hitting kickers, spinning, skiing backward, and floating powder. No other ski eats up crud so well. The edges stay sharp and handle ice like a carver. With the factory mount, I feel very balanced in the air. The M5 is very fast and stable at speed. Doesn't seem to have a speed limit. It's just playful enough.

A ski that is designed for those of us who like to point them downhill and let it rip. A great daily driver for cruising down groomers or blasting through ice, hardpack, and crud. Exceptionally stable due to the metal throughout the ski but with just enough rocker to float through fresh snow as well. These skis will give you confidence in all conditions!
Skiers who are used to tough conditions but don't want to be held back when those conditions improve. There's still enough size underfoot to have fun in softer snow and the ski isn't too stable that you don't feel feedback and liveliness in moguls and the glades.
Can handle a wide variety of conditions but will want to go fast and hard. The rocker tip and tail combined with a 96mm waist will handle fresh snow well and the camber underfoot and titanal structure will allow you to ski firmer conditions confidently.
Good all over the mountain. Relatively stiff and steady which allows them to rip on hardpack groomers. Wide enough to float a bit in powder. Will function well in variable conditions when you take them for a trip. Durable and well-made.
These skis are designed to carve beautiful turns on fresh corduroy. But they don't do too bad on soft snow, so if you want a powerful ski on the groomers but occasionally want to sneak into the woods, this is the ski for you!
This is a ski that's designed to go fast and hard. These skis are incredibly stable and with 96mm width, they can ski over just about anything. When conditions get rough and choppy, these will blast right through.
