Product details

The K2 Empress is an energetic park ski for intermediate and advanced skiers. Key Features:

  • 86mm Waist Width – At 86mm underfoot, there’s enough platform to stomp huge hits and a narrow enough base to be quick in transition.
  • Rocker / Camber / Rocker Construction – Rocker in the tip and tail make for easy turn initiation, while camber underfoot ensures edge hold and stability at speed.
  • Aspen Core – Aspen wood is light, energetic, and flexible for a great buttering ski with tons of pop.
  • Carbon – Carbon braids add pop and rebound.

The 89mm base is great for maintaining control across the mountain. Its side walls are light but are durable. The shorter turning radius and rocker type provide riders with ability to make aggressive turns will maintaining control.

Great for swaps and quick rail tricks. Awesome option for pretty much everything in the park, though a little narrow for elsewhere on the mountain.

These have an 89mm waist and rocker in the tip and tail, so you'll have enough float to handle fresh snow on trail (but not enough if there is a huge storm). A tight turning radius, easy turn initiation, soft flex, and nimble sidecut make these skis very easy to handle and move around! K2's have an energetic camber that always performs well on the East Coast, and will help you hold an edge on hardpack.

Front side, back & side country. Lightweight for all day performance. All terrain twin tip/tail rocker with a gentle camber set up. GREAT in the park and pow.
