Product details

The Blizzard Rustler 10 Ski is a versatile, soft-snow-oriented, all-mountain ski that caters to intermediate and advanced skiers. Key Features:

  • 104mm Waist Width – At 104mm underfoot (102mm in shorter lengths), this ski shines in soft snow but has the backbone for groomed and hard-packed conditions. - Multi-Layer Wood Core – A combination of poplar, balsa, beech, and paulownia keeps the core of the ski light without sacrificing stability and responsiveness.
  • Carbon – Carbon fiber is added for dampness and stability.
  • Titanal – Titanal reinforcement enhances torsional rigidity, making for a ski that won’t lose its grip when you’re hip-to-snow in a carve.
  • Rocker / Camber / Rocker Construction – Rocker in the tip and tail make for easy turn initiation and improved floatation in powder, while camber underfoot ensures edge hold and stability at speed.

The Rustler 10 is a playful ski that thrives in soft off-piste conditions, but metal underfoot gives it some chops in firmer conditions as well. At 104mm underfoot, this ski floats extremely well in powder due to its rocker profile and lighter tips and tails, but it's still fun to carve and can hold an edge when you need it to. With its lightweight build and forgiving flex, this ski is quick and nimble and is great for moguls and trees.

The Rustler is super accessible while retaining great suspension and playfulness! Metal underfoot will keep this ski strong on edge and able to punch through variable snow, but early rise in the tips and tails will allow you to pivot freely. Unlike some burly skis, the Rustler does not have a super strong tail that will punish you if you lose your form! It holds a great edge for a ski in the low 100 width range and is a blast carving varying turn sizes. This ski also has some rocker in the tips and tails allowing you to maneuver and slash through fresh snow for when you want to venture off of the groomers. The Rustler is a great ski that will crush variable snow, arc clean turns, and turn the whole mountain into your playground!

This ski has fairly deep rocker lines and a freestyle shape that isn't a true twin tip but does have quite a bit of upturn in the tail. The tips and tails are lightweight and soft to give it a playful ride while the midsection of the ski is stiff with titanal reinforcement. The 188 length comes in at 104mm underfoot which is a width that will carve well but be wide for pow days as well. Its been described as energetic on edge as the softer flexing tips and tails like to pull you into a turn while the stiff middle offers the stability to hold and edge a turn really well. The rocker profile makes these easy to pivot and maneuver as well as offers great float. It's a ski that can charge but I wouldn't say it's a ski that loves the fall line.

A nice all-around ski. 102 is a very versatile waist width. This ski can go anywhere on the mountain. Easy to ride, stiff enough to punch through ice and crud, yet playful enough to enjoy it in the powder! Stiff underfoot, yet playful into the tip and tail, this ski will keep a smile on your face from the groomers to the powder and everything in between! The metal underfoot gives you a great edge hold to ensure worry-free carving!

The Rustler line has metal underfoot, but not in the tip/tail. The result is a ski that can carve really well on groomers, but is pretty lightweight overall and has nice flex at the ends that let it be really maneuverable in trees, bumps, powder.
