Product details

The Jones Stratos Snowboard is a freeride, all-mountain focused board designed for expert riders.

Key Features:

  • Directional Shape – Designed to be ridden in one direction, the shape of the tip and tail of the board are not symmetrical.

  • Hybrid Camber Profile – More tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free.

  • Stiff Range Flex Rating – 7/10 flex makes this board stable and controlled.

  • 2x4 Insert Patterns – This snowboard is compatible with most disc mounted bindings.

The Stratos is a beautiful, pow-surfing, groomer-bombing, play machine. The sintered 9900 base is fast. The 3D contour is at its most in the tip/tail of this model, so the Stratos can float any pow run and be more forgiving on landings and when playing around the mountains. The V core is softer in the center then stiffer out to the ends, adding response and pop without being too stiff.

Charging hard in any conditions. The tip to tail taper and spoon shaped nose will provide float and maneuverability through the deep stuff. Camber under foot combined with Jones' Traction Tech will allow you to rail carve after carve down those lovely corduroy groomers.

This is a super fun, versatile freeride deck that will inject a big dose of fun back into your riding. It has a directional camber profile with ample rocker in the nose. It is a carving machine one groomers and when the snow flies it will eat up a powder day.

All-mountain, powder, freeride, even maybe a little freestyle! Super versatile with the multiple stances, a quiver of one for the rider who doesn't ride switch.
