The Atomic Backland Skis are for those skiers looking for semi-wide, backcountry powder skis that climb as well as they ski. The Backland 107 is constructed with an ultra-light wood core to keep the weight down, and a carbon backbone to provide reliable downhill performance. The 107mm waist width, and HRZN Tech Tip, keep the skis floating in deep snow, and the Dura Cap Sidewall gives it the torsional rigidity required for firmer snow conditions.
Key Features:
HRZN Tech Tip and Tail – This feature gives the tip a boat-like design to increase surface area by 10%, for easier floating in deep snow.
Backcountry Construction – With a wood core and carbon backbone, these skis are able to perform well downhill, while saving weight for the uphill climbs.
Powder Rocker – This rocker profile helps ski deeper snow with a deep raised tip rocker camber through the mid-section and behind the binding, and a little tail rocker at the end.

This is the big brother of the Backlands 100! The widest of the 3 on your list. It will be sure to keep you floating on top of the pow! Without sacrificing too much fun in the resort. Thanks to the shape of the ski, it really likes to rip groomers and plow through anything in its way. Even at the 107 width, it is still very light and stiff enough to charge the whole mountain!

A fun ski that will feel surfy the Backland has soft tips and tail that stiffen as you get to the middle of the ski. For easy release yet a controlled feel and comfy suspension. The Backland won't punish your legs after a long day of skiing.
