The legendary Kingpin combines the lightweight ISI pin toe piece with an alpine heel piece including 0°/7°/13° climbing aid. This makes it very easy to walk on any terrain and ensures great descents with outstanding performance and top-level release functionality. The binding is therefore perfect for ambitious backcountry and freeride touring enthusiasts. A very stiff, carbon-reinforced front with an ISI toe piece makes the binding easier to step into, as a wide footprint with integrated stop automatically positions and aligns your boot. Kinematically optimised pin levers then allow the pins to snap shut with just a gentle push. The wide hole pattern and XXL power transmitters deliver the ultimate in direct power transmission for the utmost control and fun on the descent.

The go-to solution for a skier who wants a lightweight touring binding, without sacrificing the durability and safety of a high-performance downhill alpine binding. Choose this option if you value the uphill capability over downhill performance...but only by a little. When it came out, the kingpin changed the game. It still is at the top of the list for this category. With a "tech" toe but the traditional alpine heel, this binding is a little strange, but offers exactly what you need! Lightweight touring but powerful downhill skiing.

The Kingpin was the original touring binding with an alpine-style heel. Weighing in at 675g per binding this is a great lightweight option. It gives you the ease of a pin tech touring binding on the way up, and the solid feel and reliability of an alpine binding on the way down! This is a great binding for a skier who prioritizes high performance on the downhill, but still needs an easy and efficient way to get up the mountain.

This binding combines a pin-style toe and spring loaded heel which makes it a highly rated hybrid that feels as stable as clicking into a standard binding while being light enough to tour with! This is an all around awesome binding!

Marker makes a solid backcountry binding- this is a great option with being lightweight and having that downhill performance. The marker Kingpins are some of the best touring bindings there are, but is lighter than a frame or hybrid binding.
