The new D9 irons from Wilson fit in between the players distance and game improvement categories. It's offers a high launch, low spin shot profile with strong lofts to maximize distance potential. Progressively down to the shorter scoring irons those higher launching shots are aimed to land and stop. The cavity back perimeter weighting, power hole tech on the sole and thinner face is aimed to provide stability, ball speed and flex on a larger portion of the club face to produce better results of distance and shot dispersion on mis-hit shots.

The D9 has great feel. Players say a ball struck in the middle of the face feels as solid as a well struck drive. However, it also feels great when the ball is slightly mishit too (something we all do now and then!). The club's stock shaft is a KBS Max Ultralite shaft, the lightest steel shaft KBS offers. As a result, you'll generate more clubhead speed without swinging harder or faster. This is a distance iron at an excellent price point.

The D9 intelligent design from Wilson has really changed the game for a high end iron set that gives added distance and accuracy with a beautiful designed club. The ball jumps off the face of these clubs and lofts the ball high in the air to ensure the ball stops on a dime. And to top it off you get this new tech for hundreds less than its competitors that have new model clubs out.

The Wilson D9 Irons are picking up where the D7 iron, super popular, left off. It has a classic look, and vibration dampening technology for a softer feel. Larger sweet spot to assist with off-centered hits and therefore, not as much loss of distance.

Wilson valuated hundreds of head designs to come up with the ultimate in game improvement performance. The D9 irons promise to launch higher, spin lower and retain incredible stopping power on the greens. Urethane-filled Power Holes are strategically positioned for maximum face flex for longer distances, and an expanded sweet spot.
