Product details

The TaylorMade SIM2 Max Hybrid is engineered to deliver golfers on every level a tour-validated, forgiving long iron Skipment with targeted technical attributes, powering reliable launch characteristics. A precisely weighted V Steel sole and a flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket design slices through a variety of turf conditions for consistent ball speeds and inspiring ball flights. Key Features: - V Steel Design – Constructed with a depressed heel and toe minimizes the sole area to improve turf interaction while also redistributing weight lower in the hybrid for optimum launch and forgiveness. - C300 Steel Twist Face – Strengthening the face with C300 Steel coupled with Twist Face Technology corrects improper face angles at impact to deliver an explosive and reliably centered ball flight. - Thru-Slot Speed Pocket – A flexible Thru-Slot Speed Pocket built into the sole of the hybrid acts like a spring to preserve ball speeds off lower mishits for higher and more predictable launch.

What is SIM2 Max rescue?
The SIM2 Max Rescue is TaylorMade's most forgiving hybrid. It is available in a variety of lofts, and can fit in many player's bags. This club is meant to be forgiving, high launching, and make the game easier for everyone. Hitting the ball long and far makes golf a much more approachable game. And this hybrid isn't just for amateurs, it has found the place in the bags of elite tour players like Dustin Johnson. You may not hit it 260 yards like he does, but it's a great sign that he is using it to attack long par 5s. This hybrid has a lot of potential, and can be a great fit to replace those pesky long irons.

A hybrid is a great club to have in the bag because it's so versatile. Longer irons can be a bit more difficult to hit, but hybrids have a little more forgiveness to them and overall easier to hit. This will launch higher and land softer, making that reachable par 5 on your course a piece of cake!

Just like all of the SIM2 products TaylorMade has to offer, these hybrids are built for forgiveness and distance. The speed pocket in the sole of the clubs allows the ball to jump off of the face on every shot, even on strikes that are not in the center of the club face.

For maximum forgiveness and workability out of a variable of lies. Increased launch and speed to help with some of the worst shots and lies. Improved technology for faster face and larger MOI. Improved sole design for better turf interaction and durability.

This club is excellent for players looking for distance AND forgiveness! TaylorMade's Twistface technology was created specifically to improve accuracy and see straighter shots on the mis-hits. This 3H sits at a 19 degree loft, and it's a nice looking club as well.

This hybrid will get the ball off the ground without sacrificing any distance. Easy to hit out of the rough, and even a sand trap. It's the perfect in-between club that bridges to gap between 4 iron and fairway wood.
