I think this wedge is a good choice for mid to low handicappers. Higher handicappers need more of a cavity back design, but the Hi-Toe delivers more forgiveness than the traditional bladed wedge.

Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
What does a hi-toe wedge do?
Taylormade designed the HI-Toe wedge to be the perfect wedge for all finesse golf shots. The full face groves means that even if you were to hit the ball off the toe of the club it will still catch grooves and create spin which makes the high toe wedge ideal for many pros to use in bunkers and tight shots where they need to create a lot of spin.

This raw wedge technology increases spin and gives increased feel and precision. In full swings and around the greens. Has sharper deeper groves to increase the spin performs very well in wet conditions. The high toe technology also creates a lower launch and more spin. The full-face scoring lines help you get out of bad lies better as well.

Great for adding extra spin to the ball and helping toe strikes get spin by having a full face. The high toe allows for lower launch which is optimal for high lofted wedges.
