The K2 Disruption 78c is an approachable piste ski for intermediate to advanced skiers. It has features like carbon and dark matter damping that add stability and damping at a lighter weight than a heavy, metal ski so it can still feel easy and intuitive for less aggressive skiers. Key Features:
- Dark Matter Dampening – A polymeric laminate along the edges adds great damping without being heavy.
- Carbon – Carbon laminates and support stabilize and energize the ski without adding weight.
- 78mm Waist Width – A thin waist width is perfect for strong grip on hard pack.

Great for intermediate skiers. These skis will perform strong on groomers, but have very quick edge to edge response which you described needing. These are light, not too stiff or damp, but can hold a strong edge at any speed. A little longer than what you have been renting. However, I believe a little more length is good for providing more stability for those big black diamond runs you enjoy

An excellent turning ski that is at home primarily on groomers and icy crud. They have K2's "Dark Matter" damping tech to maximize grip on uneven hard snow. They're carbon reinforced and have a smooth side cut that will have you tearing up turns of any shape!

Great front side ski, good for the groomers and leaning into a turn. These will hold well on the harder snow with enough shape for some great turns. 78 underfoot gives you a bit more width for a little float in the powder.

78 is a great width for groomer focused skiing. These skis will have effortless turn initiation while being light weight and versatile with it's rocker/camber profile. This ski will allow you to take it easy or push the gas for some speedy turns and quick edge to edge transfer.

This ski is going to turn well on groomers and hold on firm/icy conditions. It is more and an intermediate level ski, so it might take a day or two to get accustomed to it, but after that you will excel and be able to use it season after season and as your ski level progresses .
