Praised by magazine testers and professional skiers alike for it's unique blend of lightweight performance, the Ripstick 96 is proven to be the ultimate freeride ski in all snow conditions.
If a smoothness indicator existed for skis, the Ripstick 96 would be off the charts! It is a true freeride ski that doubles as an all-mountain ski for those who want ultimate versatility on the mountain. It utilizes Amphibio Carbon Line Technology for dynamic power and precision and a re-shaped tip and tail taper design make it a perfect choice for every day, every turn shape, on any surface. It's wide enough to handle powder, yet narrow enough in the waist to grip and rip on the front side. With Amphibio profile for exceptional maneuverability and edge grip, SST sidewalls for direct power transmission, and Amphibio Carbon Line technology for stability and ease at any speed, the second generation of this multiple award winning ski provides a silky smooth ride no matter where your mountain exploration takes you.

The RipStick 96 is another good option for handling a good variety of terrain. It still has some rocker in the tip and tail to help when you're in soft snow, but the shape of this ski makes it really easy to turn - it actually likes turning more than not turning, which is a lot of fun, it just requires a little more caution if you want to just point your skis down the hill. Shorter radius turns, lightweight design makes it nice for hiking. A lot of people use this ski to put a touring binding on.

The tip-to-tail length on these skis is actually about 4mm shorter than advertised so they would be a solid fitting ski for you. A bit on the heavier side compared to say a Head Kore 93, but these skis are still great sticks that will rip, no matter where you are. A traditional poplar wood core comes together with Fiberglass and carbon tubing for some torsional stiffness, making this a true all-mountain ski that can handle some powder and whatever else you want to take it through. Elan's unique "Amphibio" rocker profile to provide better edge grip and precise, dialed in turning.

An approachable and fun ski that is just as happy in the deep powder stashes as it is on the first lap of the day on fresh corduroy. The ski has a big rockered tip to allow for surprisingly good float for a 96mm ski, but keeps the tail flat to allow for enhanced edge hold in firm conditions.

Carving, charging, destroying everything in your path, leaving behind a wake of frozen trenches. Powerful yet super lightweight and versatile to accommodate any conditions all over the mountain. 96 mm waist is perfect to take all over the mountain and truly is a one ski quiver. Handles well on ice and powder.
