The Santa Ana 88 by Nordica is a responsive, all-mountain ski for intermediate and advanced skiers that don’t find a ton of fresh snow.

88mm Waist – The Nordica Santa Ana 88 is wide enough for a good bit of variety. It will shine in hard snow but won’t do well when the snow starts getting deep.
Balsa/Titanal Core – The balsa wood in the core of the ski is stable, energetic, and reinforced with Titanal to enhance grip and power transfer.
Carbon Reinforcement – The Nordica Santa Ana 88 is reinforced with carbon for strength and damping without adding weight.

A bread and butter women’s ski, the terrain-specific metal and 88 waist width make these puppies versatile across hardpack, groomers, and soft snow alike. A higher-end ski for those looking to grow with their skis and do some hard carvig.
All-around use out East, with some width for lower snow days out west on-piste. The Santa 88 used to be a more demanding ski, but Nordica has lightened and relaxed the flex a little to make them more approachable by intermediates and lighter weight skiers. Did have two sheets of metal, now just one partial sheet. Used be for strong Experts only, but now is more versatile and easier to ski.
