Orvis has made a pair of boots that will last a lifetime. These boots have a one-piece outer shell that is made from a durable truck bed liner. Even after a year of almost daily use, they show no signs of wear. There is a short break in time with them because of this. The Michelin sole lives up to its billing and provides 30% better wet traction than other vibram soles so those studs can just stay on the shelf! The footbed in this boot is slightly narrower than other Orvis models so it fits on more of a half size and is a great unisex product. The BOA lace system is great to have on a colder day and makes getting in and out super easy. Extra laces are sold for these boots and would be a good idea to have on hand just in case the boots are over-tightened but replacements are easy to install once obtained.

The two-layer midsole has a co-molded ESS plate that provides improved stud retention and torsional stability. Orvis partnered with OrthoLite® to create a 3D molded X25 insole designed for high-impact sports, delivering maximum comfort and arch support. An industry-first cast PU upper eliminates seams while providing a zoned cage for added stability, grip, and extreme abrasion resistance without the added bulk. The boot is higher cut for ankle support and lined with closed-cell foam.
