The Orvis Retwistable Haywire Bite Guard is designed for attaching flies to the leader when fishing for sharp tooothed fish such as bluefish, barracuda, mackerel, or pike. This wire bite tippet works well for all fly anglers in both fresh and saltwater applications. The haywire twist is made so that it can be used on multiple flies with an easy twist and untwist on and off. Easy-to-follow directions are included. Key Features:
- Reusable – These bite tippets twist on and off easily so you can change flies easily.
- Rigid Plastic Storage Tube – The guards come in a plastic tube which keeps the guards straight.
- 6 Per Pack – Six guards are included in each pack.
- Sizes – Available in both 4" and 8" sizes, of either 38 or 58 pound test.
