Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
Can you cut down Leki poles?
You can cut down some Leki poles. Generally speaking, its fairly simple to cut down aluminum alloy ski poles (or to have a ski shop employee cut them down for you). Carbon poles are more complicated -- and may require a carbon cutting blade.

Leki makes great poles! These are the shorter of the two options, but I prefer a shorter pole as it forces you to focus on your skis while learning and not use the pole as a crutch mechanism.
