Made of 68D PU polyester, it stands up to gravelly and sharp surfaces that can take a toll on your tent. It packs small in an included breathable mesh pouch with a drawstring.

Is the NEMO Hornet freestanding?
The NEMO Hornet is a semi-freestanding tent. The pole structure can stand alone, but the corners at the foot end of the tent must be staked out to provide additional structure and provide the full interior space. The Nemo Dragonfly is a fully freestanding tent in a comparable weight to the Hornet.Answered by:

To put up the Nemo Hornet 2P, start by unpacking the tent from the storage bag and spreading the tent out on the ground. Next, assemble the one Y-shaped pole. Attach the 2 shorter branches of the pole to the corners at the head of the tent near the door and the single long end at the middle of the foot of the tent to create the pole structure. With the pole structure in place, clip the to the poles. Next, steak the corners of the tent to give structure to the foot end, and spread the rainfly over the tent. Attach the rainfly to the poles with small velcro loops on the inside of the rainfly, and clip the fly to the sides of the tent. With the rainfly in place steak the fly to create the two vestibules any any guy lines for added stability.Answered by:
