Great snowboard for start
Originally posted at k2snow.com on Mar 3, 2019I believe the K2 mini turbo board, binding and boats is one of the best package for youngest snowboarders on market if not the best one. The whole concept is great. Specially the binding and boats are perfect. All is very leightweight and easy to use! I'm riding snowboard 30y+,but I think that K2 with this made great job!

A Great Deck To Learn On

He was struggling to link his turns on a board that was too long and stiff for his weight so I bought 90 cm Mini Turbo. Since then it's been so much fun watching him progress. He's gained so much confidence riding this board and he has great time exploring the mountain and hitting small boxes and rails. The Mini Turbo is also very durable-- he's ridden this board almost every weekend for the past two seasons with no issues. On one occasion he was strapping in when his board slipped and went skidding down the run before smashing into a pine tree. The only damage was a small chip on the topsheet. It's safe to say he'll outgrow this board before it wears out. On the downside, this isn't the best board for powder, but that has more to do with the size and experience of the rider. Over all, we've been very happy with the Mini Turbo and would recommend it to other parents whose kids are learning to ride.
