Product details

The Callaway Apex Pro Hybrid is constructed to deliver lower handicap players an iron-like hybrid capable of producing penetrating and targeted ball flights to either side of the golf course or green. Merging "fast face" technologies with compact shaping empowers shot-shaping control and workability along with optimally forgiving consistency and launch from a hybrid.

Key Features:

  • Jailbreak Velocity Blades – Artificial Intelligence (AI)-produced Jailbreak Velocity Blades are engineered behind the face to increase vertical stiffness and enable face cup flexing to ensure forgiveness from impacts across the clubface.
  • Flash Face SS21 – Uniquely designed face architecture optimizes ball speeds on center and off-center impacts for reliably deep distance from a large hitting area.
  • Iron-Like Shaping – Delivering an appealing look to better ball-strikers, the hybrid has an iron-like shaping and a fixed hosel.

It's good for anyone who likes the specific Callaway feel and can hit their hybrid well. My problem with it is that it doesn't feel as buttery as a Titleist hybrid which is what I like. If you can get over the feel, sound, and lack of forgiveness, this club is for you

Pros
  • Has great workability
  • It's launch is good
  • The slimmer profile looks nice
Cons
  • It's feel, sound, and forgiveness are really bad

Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
Are Callaway Apex Pro irons high handicappers?
Callaway's Apex Pro Irons are considered a players distance iron. Offering plenty of forgiveness for mid handicappers who want the blade profile. The Apex or Apex DCB would be better suited for higher handicappers.

What year Callaway Apex Pro?
Callaway's Apex Pro Hybrids are a 2019 design and release. Offering a compact hybrid head allowing more skilled players to not lose workability shaping shots, while still getting more forgiveness than irons.

Is the apex hybrid forgiving?
This response will discuss whether or not Callaway Apex Hybrids are forgiving. Callaway Apex hybrids are forgiving; however, if a player is looking for a forgiving hybrid they would be better off looking at either a Mavrik or Rogue ST Max Hybrid. Those models will be much more forgiving than the Apex.
