I would consider this club to be a good fit for players that are looking for distance, forgiveness, and good looks. The forged ring brings the driver together bringing longer distances in play; the 24g weight in the back of the head offers a deeper CG which increases the MOI (Moment of inertia) that delivers higher launching capabilities and increased forgiveness. In addition, the speed injected Twist Face brings that solid and stable feel, where its curvature protects the player against heel and toe mishits; the thru-slot speed pocket offers an additional forgiveness when there are low face hits. When I tested this product with a 45g shaft, the club felt light and had a good feeling off the face at impact; I saw the forgiveness of the club of my toe mishits, giving me decent distance in the mishits and really good distance of my good hits. To sum up, ended happy with the results after the testing, recommended for that player looking for a lightweight club with forgiveness and distance.

Is the TaylorMade SIM2 driver forgiving?
The Sim2 Driver form TaylorMade offers plenty of forgiveness within a low spin club head profile. Meant more for players looking to shape shots and have control over flight. The Sim2 Max offers more forgiveness with a perimeter weighted club head. What is the difference between the SIM2 driver and the SIM2 Max driver?
The Sim2 and Sim2 Max Drivers from TaylorMade have completely different designs. The Sim2 Max offers a mid to high launch stock shaft and is more forgiving and draw biased. The Sim2 has offers to mid launch and spin for players looking to shape the ball as intended. Is the SIM2 driver good for high handicappers?
The Sim2 Driver is not ideal for high handicappers. The club is not perimeter weighted, but the Sim2 Max is, and is a great option for higher handicap golfers.People love curated experts
