The P770s are ideal for players looking for small, workable blade irons with increased distance and forgiveness. I need a bit more forgiveness than traditional blades, so the P770s were a great fit for me. I was surprised at how long and forgiving they were for their size when I first hit them. However, they are not anywhere near as forgiving as large cavity back irons, so if you need max forgiveness, these are not the irons for you. But for better players who hit the ball relatively solidly on a consistent basis, the P770s will provide some added distance and forgiveness over other options in the blade category. They feel slightly different than typically forged blades, a bit more explosive but still very soft and solid. Personally, I love the feel they provide, but some traditionalists may prefer the feel of classic forged blades.
