This is a great product for the mid handicapper who is looking to make the switch from a hybrid to a driving iron but is not quite there yet. This bulky driving iron option brings with it impeccable forgiveness and an unbeatable feeling. Along with that forgiveness something must be sacrificed and that comes in the form of workability. It is much harder to shape shots with the large club face and the premium forgiveness.

  • Impeccable forgiveness with extreme distance.
  • Sound is fantastic which leads to better ball strikes
  • Ball explodes off of the club face.
  • With impeccable forgiveness workability comes down.
Expert Q&A
Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Udi and Dhy SIM?
The Taylormade Sim UDI is one of the most innovative driving irons. UDI stands for "Ultimate Driving Iron" and is very accurately branded because the Sim UDI is a low flying piercing ball flight that is perfect for finding the fairway off tight tee shots or hitting into a long par 5. The DHY model is designed to have a higher ball flight and more forgiveness.
