Worst Bindings out there
Originally posted at markerbindings.com on Jun 30, 2024The Marker promise (coming from a ski tech) if the bindings dont fail outta the box, dont fret, they will very soon. Dont buy these, they're absolutely horrible, horrible quality, all plastic, you will rarely find a marker binding, specifically the squire that will test correctly outta the box. Theyre super unreliable and I promise you, they will brake if you even think about skiing them hard. Stick with salomon, the strive 12 performs so much better than any marker binding (except for the kingpin ill give em credit where its deserved), and the strive is the same price as a squire.

Working with Kat was great! She made the decision process super easy. She made videos of her recommendations and explained the reason behind each recommendation. It was clear that she has the experience to back up her recommendations, and this made me feel comfortable knowing that I was getting the right equipment. we were able to select a new snowboard, bindings and boots that my wife will be getting for Christmas… Thank you, Kat!

Leo was fantastic!
5 /5
Leo curated the appropriate gear for my needs. He provided 2-4 options of skis, boots, bindings, and poles, which allowed me to choose. He was knowledgeable in comparisons and answering my many questions. He made purchasing gear easy, no pressure, and stress free, which buying the right gear for the right price usually is overwhelming for me. Curated was affordable and better priced then other online competitors, I like the return policy, and Leo's willingness to work with me throughout the process to ensure the best set up of gear. I would definitely recommend Leo and curated! I can't wait for some pow to test out the gear.

I've ordered from curated before and had a phenomenal experience. I've been looking to upgrade my gear to increase my skills and David helped find the perfect match of what i'm looking for. He answered any and all questions with not just information about the ski's themselves, but personal opinion which I really appreciated. Looking forward to riding this setup this upcoming season.

Better than shopping in a store!
5 /5
I have been looking for skis for this upcoming winter, but honestly, i'm a rookie & had some (alot) of questions. I wanted to learn a little about what gear was recommended to me, and why it was selected- not because I didn't trust it- but, because I like to understand the thought process that goes into it! It's just the way I process things. But, Thomas was patient & happily explained everything to me. I also am horribly inconsistent with my response times, and regardless of when I messaged, he always responded in a matter of minutes. I feel like sometimes when I go shopping in person and someone is helping me, I feel pressured to take their recommendation, and like I have to buy something- so using curated was a lot more appealing to me, and I cannot recommend it enough!

The guy you want in your corner
5 /5
Mad respect for Chris who went the extra mile to find me the perfect fit. Every recommendation was followed up with a thorough comparison of all my options and what made them stand out from each other. He even recorded videos, dude. Really, what more could you ask for. And still he’s not the type to try to convince you that somethings great. He just offers up all the facts to let you sit back and feel things out for yourself. Super friendly, reassuring, and will never leave you hanging. I came back to Chris for new recommendations after ghosting him for an entire season and it felt like picking up where you left off with an old friend. Super knowledgeable about the sport and how certain brands will cater to your riding style. Really appreciated that he didn’t recommend the same style of board over and over from different brands. Since he tossed up boards that had a lot of differing features he helped me find something I hadn’t considered before and taught me so much about snowboarding along the way. So if you’re looking for something that will set you apart from the rest, Chris has your back. I ended up going with his top choice for me and I couldn’t be more jacked. Will definitely be coming back for advice down the line, and can’t wait to let him know how much his pick shreds this winter. Cheers mate!
