Product details

A rejuvenating treatment for the animal to improve its performance on hard ground and at low speed.

The side lines have been lengthened to the extremities to reinforce its hold, its flex has been homogenized, its heel lightly drawn-out and its tip enlarged. With better weight balance, this freeride beast has an improved performance on hard snow and has gained precision.

The Black Crows Anima is one of the absolute best big mountain freeride skis on the market. If you’ve watched Kristofer Turdell on the Freeride World Tour, this is the ski he podiumed and took home the championship with in 2021. If the Anima is enough ski to carry Turdell to the top spot of the best skiers in the world, it’s enough for anyone, but it’s also incredibly accessible for those of us who merely aspire to ski at his level.

The goal of this ski was to create a powder hound with an all-mountain backbone (what you're lookin for). It has that 115mm waist with a nice tip and tail rocker, and balances this out with a longer easy accessed camber for a lot of control on edge. It's going to be the most different from the skis you've been on, but different is good in this case! The softer flex will keep them very playful, while the long camber still lets you lay down long arches at high speed. Light enough to be very backcountry friendly, and burly enough to crush those resort days. The tip and tail also have a nice shape to skin up!

All-mountain and powder! This ski can get on edge, handle hardpack, drop cliffs, but most of all float gracefully through the deep stuff! A powder skier's dream with an all-mountain backbone!

The Anima has a 115 waist width and a rocker camber rocker profile to give you a surfy pow skiing feel. The ski has a moderate flex to give it some softer qualities when the pow is deep but its no noodle when the conditions aren't perfect either. This ski will handle well at the resort as well when things get skied out and it gets a little choppy.

Aggressive riding. They stay online while flying across packed chop. They handle hardpack very nicely.
