The Curated Take
By the Expert Community
3.5/5
This product is great for any intermediate to advanced rider looking for a responsive binding that is great all over the hill. The added padding underfoot provide more comfort and dampen any chatter under the riders feet. Only cons are the straps, toe caps are large and don't fit as well as other brands, and the design of the hinge on the ankle strap looks weak and will break over time.
Ideal for
- Best for all mountain riding
- Adjustable hi-backs that are stronger and larger than standard hi-backs.
- B3 added gel padding provides extra comfort underfoot
Not ideal for
- Toe caps are unusually large
- Hing on Ankle straps become worn and looks easy to break overtime.
- Quick adjust connections come loose overtime.
The Burton Cartel X Snowboard Bindings are a stiffer binding meant for expert riders who want one binding to tackle all of their needs whether it's railing hard carves on groomers or sending it off massive jumps in the park. These bindings mount on any snowboard mounting system unlike their EST counterparts.
Key Features:
- Re:Flex Binding System - Burton's Re:Flex system offers more flex, cushion, and feel than industry standard disc bindings.
- Medium/Stiff Flex - This binding flex is good for charging hard and fast while not being too stiff.
- Single Component Highback - These highbacks are made of one solid piece of material, which provides more response.
- Heel Hammock - A tough rubbery material wraps around the heel of riders boots allowing for extra response even if the straps are ridden a little looser for comfort.
- Hammockstrap 2.0 - Simply designed ankle strap that cradles riders boots for a truly secure fit, the new version is paired with Burton's Smooth Glide buckles and a thinner profile for even more comfort.

Extremely helpful!
5 /5
Extremely helpful, knowledgeable about snowboarding in the west coast. Understands types of terrains and the type of board suited for the type of riding I like.
I came in with an idea of what I’m looking for. 3 yrs exp snowboarding and only used 2 boards: box knife and Burton. He asked critical questions, looked for multiple offers, videos for me to learn about the products, offered pricing matching and provided details on the process.
I’m recommending this website and Eric to my snowboarding friend group and other people looking to start riding!

100% Recommend Kelly
5 /5
Kelly made this experience easy and fun the whole way through. Incredibly knowledgeable and provided options+explanations on everything I asked. Went above and beyond to find online tools for me to self-measure foot size as I do not have any stores local/accessible at the moment. Could not be more satisfied with the help, knowledge, and access to a professional opinion that she provided.

This guys better than Google.
5 /5
I will never again need to google for information on skis, prices or the 100 other questions I had initially searched when looking for the right pair of skis/bindings.
Elias was quick to respond, extremely knowledgeable and didn’t attempt to pressure me into a purchase. This guy is the real deal and will be the reason I continue to shop at Curated.

I Heard Hayden Scored A Million GNAR Points
5 /5
I've really been wanting to upgrade my gear for the past year. I got connected with Hayden and he was amazing helping me purchase my Line Blade Optics. His video review and article were super helpful. I also heard he was super famous for sending the portal in his birthday suit for a million GNAR points. 11/10 would recommend.

Sammy is the go-to expert!
5 /5
This is the best experience I have EVER had buying anything!! I thought after taking the survey I would just get a generic email. But the fact that they had online recommendations from a REAL person…. I’m speechless. Sammy got in touch with me right away and then called me the make the process faster. She had fantastic recommendations and even stayed within my budget. This couldn’t have been better and I am so so grateful. Thank you so much, you are incredible!!!

Josh is the ultimate gear guide for snowboarding
5 /5
Not only was Josh knowledgeable on every one of my questions, but he was also very patient for the million I asked. I’m hyped for the curations that he chose for me and the explanation for why he chose them. It also helped that he was very familiar with the areas I would be riding and he made his selections based on those terrains. Now all we need is some good snow for this upcoming season!
