The Smith Altus MIPS is really for any type of in bounds skier that wants an extra layer of protection while staying at a high level of comfort. It is comfortable and safe helmet due to its MIPS technology. MIPS stands for Multi-Directional Impact Protection System which helps reduce rotational forces you might incur during a crash by mimicking the brains own natural protection system by using a slip plane system that moves inside of the helmet. This technology will make you less prone to TBI's and concussions during those unfortunate falls.

Adjustable vents for changing conditions, audio compatible, works well with Smith goggles to keep them vented and fog-free, and MIPS to help with rotational impacts in the event of a crash. Lightweight in-mold construction to be light on your head too!
