The Beast 108 touring ski was developed just for powder specialists and with a waist of 108 guarantees unforgettable downhill fun. Compared to the prior model from Winter 2019-20, the wood core has been weight-optimized again (less 100 grams) and a totally new topsheet was developed. Nano technology keeps snow from accumulating on the topsheet. Less snow on the ski of course means less weight. Just say ‘no’ to sticky snow – keep your tours lighter and enjoy them to the fullest. Highest performance on the descent and great float are the two strengths of the Beast 108, making this ski your partner in crime on powder days. Full ABS sidewalls and the ash wood core ensure edge grip and stability plus torsional rigidity. Nevertheless, this ski at 1,660 grams (at 181 cm) performs well as a great companion on longer ascents. Developers succeeded at reducing weight while not decreasing ski performance. To do that, they used premium materials and reduced the topsheet. This touring ski has Double Ellipse Rocker construction. This affects a variable edge length -- depending on the ski's edge angle -- and means light and maneuverable handling in the backcountry. In addition, the so-named Ride Tip -- a carbon core at the shovel -- improves chatter and vibration. Beast 108 – Best friends on powder days.

A ski that will allow you to rip in the backcountry. Plenty of rocker to give you float in powder and elliptical sidecut to give you good edge hold as well. A slightly wider touring option at 108mm underfoot. A solid ski that is one of the more stable touring options. It's not ultralight but light enough for long tours.

Dynafit is making some of the lightest, most touring-oriented skis on the market and that is exactly what this is for: lightweight uphill skinning and fast descents. Great powder ski and will work primarily well in BC.
