Product details

The Völkl Kenja 88 Ski is a fairly aggressive frontside ski. It’s a high-performance groomer and hard-snow ski.

Key Features:

  • 88mm Waist Width – At 88mm underfoot, this ski holds its own on all but the iciest conditions and can still mix it up off-piste.

  • Rocker / Camber / Rocker Profile – Rocker in the tip and tail make for easy turn initiation and improved flotation in powder, while camber underfoot ensures edge hold and stability at speed.

  • Beech and Poplar Core – Hardwood underfoot is damp and stable, while lighter wood in the tip and tail offers easier maneuverability.

  • Titanal – A titanal frame gives the ski energy and edge hold.

  • Carbon Tips – Carbon in the tip and tail gives the skis a stable feel without making them heavy.

The Kenja is a perennial favorite for lady shredders looking for a ski to carry them everywhere on the mountain! This ski combines Volkl's legendary performance with a lighter-weight, women-specific design that is incredibly versatile without sacrificing power. Volkl re-designed the Kenja last season with a brand-new Titanal metal frame construction - essentially removing the solid sheet of metal inside the ski, and replacing it with a metal frame that leaves the center of the ski a pure wood core! This lightened up the Kenja considerably, making it easier to maneuver and reducing leg fatigue, as well as making it more energetic and springy for a great carving and mogul experience! At 88mm underfoot, the Kenja will excel and carving gripping on firm snow, while its new and improved flex will help propel you from turn to turn on groomers or trough to trough in moguls! Lightweight, all-mountain performance for the intermediate to advanced lady shredders!

A great alternative to the highly recommended Black Pearl's. Arguably more stable and damp in the crud, ice, and hardpack than its competition thanks to a Titanal frame and carbon tips. This is the perfect ski for an intermediate-expert skier that wants something that can charge down the groomers but can also have fun in the bumps, trees, and occasional powder day.

This is a narrower version of Völkl's most popular ski. This one has a wood core with a titanal metal frame that makes it crazy stable on ice and at speed. It has a decent amount of pop underfoot for super easy turn transitions, it is seriously a fun ski! This ski is built for all-day groomer and ice ripping. A solid light core and metal frame makes this ski stable and maneuverable.

A great all-mountain ski with the versatility to go on the bumps, in the trees and float in the powder when it falls. These will definitely respond to your input and give you great feedback from the snow. Titanal and 3D ridge technology make this ski poppy, light and responsive. The Wood core and famous Völkl construction make them reliable and precise.

This ski excels on groomed trails and hard-pack conditions. 88mm underfoot is quick edge to edge and has enough width for stability in variable and choppy conditions. Metal reinforcement in the construction of the ski gives it great bite and edge hold, but carbon in the tips lightens the swing weight so it doesn't feel demanding.
