The Protoslinger X is a blend of Never Summer’s now-extinct park board, the Funslinger, and the all-mountain ripper, Proto Type Two. This true twin snowboard has an asymmetrical shape with a medium/soft flex and a profile that is powerful, yet cruisey enough, for the powder for the intermediate rider or above.

Key Features:

• Shockwave Rocker Camber – This profile contains longer camber areas beneath the feet for huge pop and incredible stability, with a small rocker area in between the feet that retains float in the powder and quick turn initiation.
• Asym Vario Power Grip Sidecut – The sidecut utilizes multiple radii to create extra contact points along the edge of the board to increase edge hold. The asymmetrical version of this sidecut puts a shorter radius on the heel side so the contact points are located closer to the heels for better grip and edge hold. - NS Superlight Wood Core – The core features a custom blend of wood species designed to be the lightest weight, yet most durable.
• Low Profile Tip/Tail – A thinner/shorter tip and tail gives the board maximum contact with the snow for more powerful pop and stability to landings. This also gives the board better glide and better float. - STS Pretensioned Fiberglass – The fiberglass on this board has been pretensioned to produce the same feel from day 1 on day 300. Added elastomer stringers provide a stronger bond between the individual glass laminates to increase the strength, performance, and edge hold of the board.
