I have consistently bought a pair of Photon BOAs every couple of years for the past 10 years. There is a reason why. These boots do it all! From touring, to glades, to moguls, to park, to groomers, they do it all! The BOA system makes it easy to get the perfect fit and release tension while on the lift. I use the J-Bar attachments in mine, and it pretty much eliminates all my heel lift issues with these bindings. Burton also built the upper BOA to wrap around the heel/Achilles. These two things combined are my secret to eliminating heel lift while snowboarding, which is very hard to do. The Intuition heat-moldable liner means these boots are nice and comfortable throughout the whole day. The foil on the bottom of the boots really helps to hold the heat in and prevents my feet from getting cold while riding. I have never had a single issue with any of my pairs of Photon's, and they consistently last me two seasons every time. I normally get about 30-50 days every season. I would recommend the Photon BOA to anyone who wants a higher-performance boot that can keep you warm, comfortable, and confident the entire day.
