The Black Crows Atris Birdie is a versatile big mountain ski for intermediate and advanced skiers. It combines nimbleness and stability for a ski that’s at home in almost any conditions thanks to a poplar wood core, RCR construction, and a 108mm waist. The Artis Birdie provides stability, rapid edge transitions, a progressive tail rise, and an approachable amount of flex. Key Features:
- 108mm Underfoot – The Atris Birdie can handle powder, chop, and even hard pack with ease.
- Poplar Core – An energetic poplar core combines a lively, playful feel with the stability and damping required to ski hard.
- Rocker/Camber/Rocker Construction – Tip and tail rocker makes it easy to float and pivot, while camber underfoot enhances stability and rebound.

This is one of Black Crows' most versatile skis. It carries enough rocker for easy turn initiation on groomers as well as powder and enough camber underfoot to hold a strong edge. The mid-level flex keeps the skis strong when needed yet playful and poppy depending on how you ski. The 108mm underfoot allows you to tackle nearly anything the mountain throws at you.
At 108mm underfoot, these skis are big mountain skis for sure. The flex pattern is fairly soft in tips and tails but quite stiff underfoot. I consider this ski as more of a moderate flex ski that makes it a more approachable big mountain ski that doesn't need to be skied at 100mph to get a lot out of it. Rocker in the tip and tail makes it a great powder ski and the side cut makes it adept at groomers as well.
Featuring a poplar core and double rocker with medium camber, this is an incredibly stable ski that can handle everything steep, fast, and deep. 108mm wide underfoot makes this a great ski for powder days, and with all of its features, it is still an incredibly fun and approachable ski.
Going anywhere on the mountain regardless of snow depth. Great shape and build for a powder ski with a little more performance. Billed more as a big-mountain ski, but can do all kinds of powder with ease.
Powder, trees, bumps, crud-busting, and even groomers — these can handle it all.
