Can you share a story of a happy purchaser whom you recommended this product to?

A customer of mine purchased this set of irons for his son who had just joined his high school golf team. While being skeptical about buying clubs his son hadn't tried out yet, he trusted my expertise and opinion. Roughly a week later, I received a few messages from the customer. One of the messages was of the customer's son using the clubs. Not only was it a pure shot, the father-son duo were in awe of the shot the son hit in the video. The father loved the pure sound that came off the club face during the shot, while the son did a pose and club twirl post-shot because of the shot's success. Because of this set, the father-son duo are having even more fun out there on the course.

I had someone using old Wilson clubs that felt like he needed an upgrade. I recommended him the Mavrik and from the moment he got them he loved them. So much so that his wife that golfs with him wants some.

Is Callaway still making Mavrik irons?

Callaway Golf is no longer producing the Mavrik irons. They were released in 2020 and were replaced by the Callaway Rogue ST irons in 2022. This is standard for Callaway. They replace clubs after they have been produced for 2 years. Mavrik irons can still be purchased online and in stores where there are sets in stock.

The Mavrik irons from Callaway were a massive hit and are still some of the most beloved irons on the golf course today. But in early 2022, Callaway released their brand new (and even better) Rogue ST Max irons and therefor the Mavriks - while still available here or there in limited quantities - will no longer be made.

Technically Callaway has ceased the production of the Mavrik irons. Some would argue the Rogue ST irons are the same as the Mavrik with just a few tweaks to seperate it from the Mavrik. The evolution of the irons has been from the Rogues to the Mavriks and then to the Rogue STs. All 3 models are cavity backs and are very forgiving.

Mavrik irons are best for mid-high handicap players and any player looking for maximum forgiveness, distance, and accuracy. For those looking to be able to do more "shaping" of their shots and those looking to get more feedback from the club on off-center hits...the Mavrik Pro is the best option. But for all other weekend golfers and those just looking for a really fun set of irons to play that will fly long and not penalize mishits...the Mavriks are a great option.

Callaway Mavrik irons are a great choice for players with a 15+ handicap. Especially if you struggle to find the sweet spot with your irons, the Mavrik irons are going to give you consistent distance, even if you strike the ball with the heel or the toe. The Mavrik irons are long, so even senior player with a 12-15 handicap who doesn't have great iron distance might consider these clubs as they will bring some distance back into their iron game.

Are the Mavrik irons better than the Rogue irons? The Mavrik stands out as more technologically advanced for a player improvement iron though they are priced higher than the Rogues. If you were ever wondering if you could adjust the loft of your irons I will answer that here. Unfortunately you are unable to adjust the loft of your irons like you would a driver. The only way to adjust your lofts would be to use a loft and lie machine at a local golf shop. However this is irreversible. That should answer if you can change the loft of your irons.

Stronger lofts are useful because of higher ball speeds or wanting spacing even spacing between irons. Ideally, we are looking for a 4-6 degree loft difference between each club. Most clubs are mass-produced, so it doesn't hurt to check your lofts the next time you go to a golf repair shop. Don't hesitate to change the lofts if you need to, the clubs can be bent for more or less loft.
