The Srixon® ZX4 Irons are engineered for a vast array of mid-level players seeking an iron with a topline and offset that looks appealing at address with the sole width and hollow structure that ramps up distance for a stealthy combination of workable launch properties. A modestly short blade length and forged-like sound and feel team up with game-improvement technologies for smooth and powerful all-iron design.
Key Features:
- Mainframe – Constructed with a milled pattern on the inside of the face maximizes COR and ball speeds across a large area of the club face.
- Tour V.T. Sole Design – A V-shaped sole glides smoothly through the turf for better feel and feedback at impact.
- Hollow Design – The hollow design allows for face flexing and increased forgiveness from a variety of impact points on the face.

The Srixon ZX4 irons are a high quality game improvement set that boast plenty of forgiveness in an easy to launch head. These irons are also some of the longest on the market due to their stronger lofts and larger head profile. Because of these characteristics, the Srixon ZX4's will best suit those ranging from a mid to high handicap.
As someone who plays these irons I can attest to their forgiveness, especially in the long irons. As someone who occasionally struggles with a mishit off of the toe, I found that the ZX4's did a terrific job of counteracting that miss. This was done by maintaining a high launch while also allowing the ball to start right of target and draw back towards the pin. The distance loss on mishits is also marginal. On average, I was only losing between 8-12 yards on mishits when compared to shots hit out of the middle. This allowed me to hit a few more greens in regulation per round even when I wasn't striking the ball at my absolute best.
My only knock on these irons is that their workability, sound, and feel leave some to be desired. As a game improvement iron, I found it a bit more difficult to hit fades and draws on command when compared to a players iron. They are also lacking in the feel category due to them not being a one-piece forged construction.
- Best in class forgiveness packed into a head that's easy to launch
- Terrific look for a game improvement iron set
- One of the longest hitting irons on the market
- Workability can be difficult due to it being a game improvement iron
- Not the softest feeling or sounding iron
- May not visually appeal to the better player due to its chunky head size
