The Srixon ZX4 irons are a top choice for the mid-handicap golfer looking for a great looking and performing game improvement iron. As a 56 year old mid-handicap golfer I moved to the ZX4 irons in an effort to make the game easier and more fun. These irons look and feel great as a hollow-body club with a forged face, providing strong launch (thanks in part to the tungsten weighting in the 4-7 irons) and distance performance with tons of forgiveness. Due in part to these irons now in my bag, I've lowered my handicap by three strokes so far this season. The slightly larger club face and minimal offset provides plenty of confidence for the golfer looking to maximize mishits. Highly recommend.

The Srixon ZX4 is the ultimate game-improvement iron. Intended for high handicappers, it will assist with ball striking due to the large club head and provide maximum forgiveness on mishits outside of the center because of a larger sweet spot. The forged construction also includes a feel from a more advanced iron into a game-improving one.

What is the value for the money versus other options?
Since I bought the Srixon ZX4 irons a year after they were first launched, I was able to purchase them for a very good price. The quality and performance, combined with the reasonable cost, makes these clubs the best value irons I've ever purchased. I can see keeping these in my bag for many years.Answered by:

My home course features a very difficult par 3 at 160 plus yards, elevated, with pine trees lining the hole. I used to be happy to just get near the green, but this year with my new Srixon ZX4 irons, I am feeling more confident teeing it up. One evening I was playing a solo round. Well, on hole 8, the tough par 3 I mention above, I pulled my 7-iron and hit a beautiful shot that was heading for the flag stick. Since the hole is elevated I lost sight of it and couldn't see when the ball ended up, but I knew it was close. I called my wife on FaceTime as I walked up to the hole, just in case I had made a hole in one. Well, sadly, the ball had landed five feet in front of the hole and rolled past, missing my first Ace by inches.Answered by:

Instead of just asking for measurements and experience Bobby was more thorough and asked how dedicated i am, what kind of playing i do and things that most overlook. Took the time to send a video explaining the clubs he recommended for me and gave me two great options based on the information. i was having a hard time finding clubs on my own and if not for Bobby specifically i probably would have gave up and kept renting low quality clubs. Ted was in a hurry to be methodical! Didn't attempt to push a particular model, brand or style. Wasn't interested in rushing my decision, and was unbelievably patient with my thoughts, questions, concerns and curiosities. He took his time to incorporate my inconsistencies and issues with my game to recommend types, lofts, angles, fact types, etc so that I had a cart with only pertinent and relevant items in it. Then to top it off, found every discount and reduction available to ensure I had the lowest cost per item and overall, for my cart. What more could anyone hope for??!!
