Not a fit for this Goldilocks
Originally posted at www.mountainhardwear.com on Mar 20, 2023Unfortunately I could not find my size. I’m 5’ 4”, 140 lbs athletic build. Tried the large first after reading reviews and they were huge! Returned for a medium and they “looked good” but were tight, sitting or squatting was a no-go. Ordered short inseam on both, fyi. Length was great. Difference between Large & Med in the butt & midsection is too drastic. This Goldilocks has to look elsewhere now. Too bad, since I have the original firefall bibs in Med/ Short from 6+ yrs ago and Love them! They’re just a little tired now ;)

Kat was so helpful!
5 /5
Kat was so patient with all my questions and truly helped me figure out what gear would work best for me! She recommended me a good couple of boards and went into detail on each one and what the different features were and how they’d benefit me. As someone who buys for looks and pretty colors, I’m glad I had help to be confident in my purchase for my ride style and experience level!

Noah was Great!
5 /5
I was unsure what ski gear to buy, but Noah settled all my worries. He was extremely knowledgeable and sent me a video explaining everything which gave the whole experience a more personal feel. I am very happy I matched with Noah because he was able to find the best skis for me and answered all my other questions!!

Super Knowledgeable and Accessible
5 /5
As someone buying skis for the first time, but having skied for a few years Leo was incredibly helpful! He took into account what I prioritized but also explained why a suggestion might be out of my initial request. For example, he got ahead of my question on why bindings are expensive and why it is important to not only focus on the skis but the bindings as well.

Frankie really dialed in the board for me
5 /5
He has extensive knowledge, and was really able to find the perfect setup for me and my riding style as well as my bank account. Also was honest and kept me from making a purchase that I might regret. We talked for at least an hour and the whole time he was very helpful. All in all he really knows his stuff when it comes to getting you into the perfect set up. I highly recommend him. Thanks again Frankie.

Tyler was awesome!
5 /5
I’ve been using a board from 2005 for the last 4 or so years now. Finally decided it was time to upgrade but had no idea of what to upgrade to. He asked what I was looking for, and ended up narrowing it down to exactly what I need/want, to further my skills. He’s very knowledgeable and approachable, and overall very friendly. Was nice talking to Tyler and I’m super stoked to get up on the mountain.
