Putting, like many other areas in golf, often comes down to personal preference. For those players who prefer a smaller, more narrow blade style putter head, and a forged, milled putter face, this Mizuno M-Craft Type I is an excellent choice! The milled face offers stability and consistency across the entire putter face regardless of where contact occurs, which is nice when you do not strike the sweet spot. This precision milling offers consistent roll no matter where it is stiked.
As a bonus, this putter includes three different interchangeable weights for the the sole...3,g, 8g, or 13g. I tried all three and settled on the 3g weights as it offered me the best feel, which is something I prefer in a putter. Though other players could easily prefer it at midweight or even the heaviest weight, as that offers more stability during the swing, but a tad less feel.
Overall Mizuno has done a phenomenal job with this putter, which will compete well with the other top of the line milled face blade putters, but for less cost!

- The M-Craft Type I is a great mallet style putter for those who prefer that more minimalist, thinner head styles.
- This putter offers a milled grind face, which offers great feel & stability across the entire hitting surface.
- The three different interchangeable weights included offer the player the ability to dial in the right feel for their game.
Not ideal for
- Players looking for a very pronounced alignment graphic may be disappointed as this is a single clean line.
- People who prefer a larger, more stable putter will find this blade to be a tad small.
- The stock grip included was not a preferred style or quality, but I easily I regripped it with something thicker.
The Mizuno M.Craft Type I Putter is built for players who prefer to use an exaggerated putting arc with significant face rotation in their putting stroke. A square back design, mid slant neck with maximum toe-hang is engineered in a heavily weighted, milled putter producing a nice soft feel. Key Features:

Sara recommended 3 choices for woods and irons. I settled on the TRS2 3W and TRS2 Hybrid with specific shafts she also recommended and the Golf Pride Tour Wrap G2 grips I preferred. I selected the Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal Pro Irons and got the 4-PW and added the G, L and S wedges with the shafts Sara recommended and the same grips I preferred. This combo is the best I have ever hit providing me with great satisfaction almost each time I hit the ball as I still, occasionally, hit a bad shot but that’s on me and not the club selection. Sara really was spot on with her selection of clubs for me and I also was recommended the Scotty Cameron Phantom putter which is the best putter I have ever had. Thanks again Sara! Really appreciate your knowledge and help!

Mick was super friendly and helpful from the start.
