The Mizuno JPX921 Forged Irons are engineered for lower handicap players demanding a stable, fast, and soft-feeling iron with classic appeal. A compact blade length, reduced offset, and a bevelled trailing edge delivers a sleek and fast look to the head, while optimizing workability.
Key Features:
- Grain Flow Forged – Forged in Japan with a precise Grain Flow process, they deliver a consistently soft feel through each iron.
- CNC Back Milled – A wider back milled slot increases stability over a large hitting area for optimal forgiveness from a compact head.
- Chromoloy 4120 – Allowing for a thin face in the 4-7-irons, this Chromoly material delivers fast peak and average ball speeds from a full-body forged iron.
- Stability Frame – Perimeter weighting with toe bias adds stability on off-center strikes.

These Mizuno irons are ideal for mid-handicap golfers who take their game seriously and want to invest in their improvement. The JPX921 Forged set delivers some of the most precise control and enhanced feel to help the mid handicap both lower their scores and keep them low! Supreme weighting to allow just the right amount of forgiveness and a forged shape to give the pure look and feel that serious golfers deserve.

The JPX921 forged model is built with a larger rebound area with the back milled slot to increase stability in the iron for any mishits. It also offers a 35% increase in the COR area of the clubface with its 0.5mm thinner face, which causes the ball to explode off the face for more distance. When you compound all of this with the less extreme toe weighting in the head of the club, you get additional perimeter weighting in areas of the club where you need it the most for one of the most forgiving forged club options in the market!

The Grain Flow Forged HD build of these irons delivers that ultra-smooth feel of Mizuno irons. The third generation of the Chromoly face allows for a thinner face that delivers the fastest ball speeds that Mizuno has ever produced. These irons have a sleek, compact profile with a stability frame that shifts weight around the perimeter for high stability and forgiveness on off-center strikes.

Huge Mizuno fan (I play MP15s!), and for good reason. They have an incredible feel and generate a beautiful sound on impact. The JPX921 Forged Irons are no exception--you get all the feel of a player's forged iron, BUT with the distance and forgiveness of a game improvement iron, making it the ideal iron for the mid handicapper. Some of the tech in this bad boy: grain flow forged face, Chromoly clubface for faster ball speeds, and a stability frame with perimeter weighting and toe bias for more forgiveness on mishits. Doesn't hurt that these clubs look beautiful in the bag, with a pretty pearl brush finish and smart look.
