The Burton Family Tree 3D Deep Daze is a true powder board. This is for the rider who wouldn't miss a powder day for anything, and craves the feeling of floating on the powder. With unique 3D shaping and a surfboard-inspired design, this board is great for surfing through the deepest snow that mother nature can offer.
Key Features:
- Directional Flat Top – This board has a flat camber leading into a larger rocker nose for maximum float in the deepest snow.
- 3D Shaping – A 3D contoured nose and tail provide surfy fun turns.
- The Channel Mounting System – The mounting system gives easy adjustability and customization. It is compatible with EST bindings and with other bindings via a compatible disc.
- Mid-Wide Waist – With a slightly wider waist that provides bigger surface area, you have plenty of board to keep above the snow on.

Originally posted at burton.com on Mar 11, 2024I ordered a 154 and I am 6ft and 160lbs. that size was perfect for all mountain riding and the board worked way better than I thought on groomers. I enjoyed the board so much that I ordered another one in a larger size for the Deeper Daze

My daily drivers are a Custom Camber 154W (jumps/park) and a Skeleton Key 154 (resort/trees)
This is a great new addition to my setups for only powder days, super responsive in deep fluff
For me, its too soft and flat/rocker for groomers/resort (as i want side hits and jumps), but backcountry and tress its absolutley perfect.

I have been looking for skis for this upcoming winter, but honestly, i'm a rookie & had some (alot) of questions. I wanted to learn a little about what gear was recommended to me, and why it was selected- not because I didn't trust it- but, because I like to understand the thought process that goes into it! It's just the way I process things. But, Thomas was patient & happily explained everything to me. I also am horribly inconsistent with my response times, and regardless of when I messaged, he always responded in a matter of minutes. I feel like sometimes when I go shopping in person and someone is helping me, I feel pressured to take their recommendation, and like I have to buy something- so using curated was a lot more appealing to me, and I cannot recommend it enough!

Mad respect for Chris who went the extra mile to find me the perfect fit. Every recommendation was followed up with a thorough comparison of all my options and what made them stand out from each other. He even recorded videos, dude. Really, what more could you ask for. And still he’s not the type to try to convince you that somethings great. He just offers up all the facts to let you sit back and feel things out for yourself. Super friendly, reassuring, and will never leave you hanging. I came back to Chris for new recommendations after ghosting him for an entire season and it felt like picking up where you left off with an old friend. Super knowledgeable about the sport and how certain brands will cater to your riding style. Really appreciated that he didn’t recommend the same style of board over and over from different brands. Since he tossed up boards that had a lot of differing features he helped me find something I hadn’t considered before and taught me so much about snowboarding along the way. So if you’re looking for something that will set you apart from the rest, Chris has your back. I ended up going with his top choice for me and I couldn’t be more jacked.
