This is the mind expander, but a twin! When Jones released the Mind Expander, everyone loved it, but he got one request: make a twin version. This board is for powder chasers that want to ride switch in the backcountry. Unlike the mind expander, it's also a board that fairs well in the park, and it has traction tech and camber so riders can take it on groomers.
Key Features:
- Traction tech 3.5 - Extra contact points have been added so that the board cuts through snow and ice like a saw. This helps the board hold an edge better on those icier days.
- 3D contouring - Jones is one of a few companies (Burton, Jones, and Bataleon) that can make 3D boards. 3D shapes make turning in powder much easier and more surfy. They also reduce edge catching.
- Surf camber - This mellow camber profile keeps this board surfy on powder while allowing it to hold an edge on groomers and in the park.
- Sintered base - The Jones 8000 sintered base helps the bottom slide freely over snow, making this board faster.
- Good for the environment - Jones's commitment to green manufacturing means less impact on the environment. Jones uses recycled plastic for the sidewalls, recycled steel for the edges, environmentally safe wax, and exclusively solar energy for its factories.

Tyler made great recommendations and really took the time to understand where my skill level is at and where I intend to ski.
