Product details

The Rome Warden 2022 is an all-mountain snowboard geared towards intermediate and advanced level riders. This board’s mid-flexing directional twin shape features a slight rocker at the contact points and camber throughout. This yields a ride that is playful, full of pop, and holds a strong edge through carves.

Key Features:

  • Directional Twin Shape – The Rome Warden rides well natural or switch and has enough setback to keep the nose up when things get deep.
  • Bamboo Hotrods – The bamboo hotrods are a Rome specialty that spring-loads boards for greater pop and energy transfer from edge to edge.
  • Triax Glass Topsheet – A three-way top sheet material makes the board stable from nose-to-tail and rail-to-rail.
  • Power Slide Base – The Power Slide Base is a fast, low maintenance, durable base material that will still slide well if you skip a wax.

Quick, accurate answers from Curated experts to the frequently asked questions
Can you share a story of a happy purchaser whom you recommended this product to?
A lot of Curated customers have gotten on this board with my help, and they all love it. It is a great board for someone who is knows how to link turns, but still isn't ready to huck off giant cliffs or send it into the mega pipe. It's got a directional shape, so it rides great in pow; but, it also rides pretty well switch when needed. It's not too stiff, so it's pretty forgiving; but, it's not so soft that it feels like a beginner board. Snowboarding is hard, so why not give yourself a ride that you can just go out and have fun on? This board is great for any rider who wants to have fun and cruise the whole mountain.

Who is this product good for?
The Rome Warden is a performance designed board ideal for intermediate to advanced boarders who ride all-mountain. The directional twin shape with a medium flex makes this board stable yet forgiving when bombing down groomers or maneuvering through tight trees. And the cambered underfoot provides great pop in the park.

Park laps, groomers, side hits, you name it, the Warden can rip it. Mid-flex, slightly directional shredder that will sling out of groomers & carves with power. Versatile enough for the hard charger yet playful enough for buttering and popping off side hits! Rocker in the tips, camber underfoot for power & control.

The stomp core by Rome is a 100% poplar core, their most stable and predictable deck! This is heightened by bamboo hotrods milled into the nose and tail of the board, keeping it playful and poppy. The Powerslide base is made of upgraded extruded material, keeping it faster and more durable! A medium stiff flex is stable enough to be predictable, and soft enough to not wear you out all day!
